Assistant Property Manager starting pay $16 per hour + lease and renewal commissions!

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for working with the Site Manager to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers which results in customer satisfaction and consistent high-level performance for their assigned site. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service to current and potential residents by showing open apartments, responding to complaints, resolving issues, and proactively building positive relationships.

Additional Requirements:
??? Maintain maximum occupancy of properties by building long term relationships with current residents and securing renewals of existing leases.
??? Show apartments to prospective residents. Sell prospects on the apartment and complete necessary leasing paperwork.
??? Assist with advertising and marketing of properties.
??? Respond to requests, questions and concerns, making referrals to manager or maintenance staff as appropriate.
??? Schedule and perform apartment move-ins and move-outs. Coordinate with vendors as needed.
??? Assist manager with the training of new Leasing Specialists and resident caretakers. Provide work direction and support to site staff in the manager s absence. Provide input to performance appraisals.
Experience, Education, and Licensure:
??? High School diploma or GED required.
??? preferred
??? National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) or similar certifications are desirable
??? Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set.
??? Strong sales skills and aptitude with confidence and drive to close the sale.
??? Basic computer skills.
??? Familiar with federal, state, and jurisdictional laws and regulations concerning multi-family housing, Fair Housing, and employee safety.
??? Prior experience in property management or a related industry is preferred, but not required.
