Healthcare Planner/Architect
RSP Architects' Healthcare & Life Sciences Studio is honored to be working with forward-looking clients who are committed to advancing and improving health & well-being, via design.
We are a talented and nimble team working on a wide-spectrum of building types and very interesting projects, including: hospital master planning, inpatient and outpatient remodeling projects, clinics of every imaginable size and specialty, environments for aging, health & wellness facilities, bio-medical research labs, clinical labs & healthcare retail.
Our team is growing and we are seeking a smart, creative, collaborative Healthcare Planner/Architect who enjoys leading project programming, client and user group meetings, planning and design workshops, consultant coordination, Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) approvals and overall project delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Building "trusted partner" relationships with teammates, clients (existing and new) and consultants
Consistent, inventive, professional and successful project delivery
Modeling RSP's Core Values of Spirit, Excellent, Vision, Respect, Integrity, Stewardship
Providing overall project space programming, planning and technical expertise
Design and documentation inventiveness
Delivering work products timely and professionally, always
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Collaborative, responsible, creative and professional behaviors, always
Experience with healthcare space programming, planning, design and construction detailing
Knowledge of building code, applicable life safety codes and federal design guidelines
Ability to organize, coordinate, prepare and deliver design and construction documents
Excellent communication, client-service and relationship-building skills
A self-starter with professional, business-building aptitude and interest
Solid leadership interest and potential
Proficient in Revit and Microsoft Suite
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Architectural licensure preferred
Previous experience as a Healthcare Planner required
Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience
