Under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing the electrical system, equipment and apparatus of the plant facilities in accordance with county, state and NEC codes.

You will have the opportunity to:
Perform duties necessary to maintain and repair electrical equipment, machinery and systems.
Review and analyze problems, determine causes for difficulties and take corrective action or refer major problems to others for resolution.

Assist with or install new electrical equipment and systems in accordance with county, state and NEC codes and regulations.

Maintain required maintenance logs and files.
Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.

Requirements:
Must be trained in NFPA 70E awareness and demonstrate that he/she can follow proper electrical work procedures, and wear proper arc flash clothing.

Must be trained and demonstrate qualification to use an electrical measuring multimeter.

Must be able demonstrate the ability to properly test for power, and check continuity of electrical circuits for machine operations, maintenance and trouble-shooting of equipment.

High School Diploma or GED

Requires formal training as is normally acquired in two years of an accredited electrical apprenticeship or a minimum of four years broad industrial electrical maintenance and repair experience.

Must be knowledgeable in electrical codes and the use of a variety of hand and power tools and electrical test equipment.

_T_he selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR). __

_The candidate selected will have to qualify as either a U.S. citizen, a U.S. National, a lawful permanent resident of the U.S., a Person Admitted into the U.S. as an Asylee or Refugee., a National of a country that is not prohibited from having access to U.S. controlled technology (via a letter of assurance), or a Person to be approved for an export license by the governing agency whose technology comes under its jurisdiction._
