Director of Operations

Itasca-Mantrap Co-op. Electrical Ass’n. is an electrical distribution cooperative located in Park Rapids, MN. The cooperative provides electrical and related services to more than 10,000 members in Hubbard, Becker, Cass, Clearwater and Wadena Counties. Park Rapids is in the heart of the Minnesota lakes area and is also home to Itasca State Park, the source of the mighty Mississippi River. 

We are hiring a director of Operations reporting to the President-CEO. Candidates should have strong experience in operations management, financial management, personnel and member relationship management, internal process management, innovation, and technology skills. 

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, management operations, or a related field is required or a two year associate degree with equivalent experience. A master’s degree in a relevant area of study is preferred. A minimum of seven years of formal leadership experience is required. Electric utility experience preferred. The successful candidate must have experience in one or more of the following areas: project management, safety, disaster recovery plans.
