$40/hr

Managing and overseeing daily operations of the Branch. The secondary function is to provide the Regional or District managers with any requested branch-specific information to be reported back to corporate.

Duties include:
- Overseeing aspects of the profit center (operations, admin, etc.)
- Responsible for hiring, supervising, and training inside sales team
- Dotted line responsibility for the outside sales force
- Determines the nature of profitable versus non-profitable business through precise decision making and trend analysis
- Working closely with Branch Credit Manager to determine adequate account base
- Dealing directly with corporate office on matters that concern day to day branch functions
- Developing plans for increased branch profitability
- Markets Allied to the internal and external customer base through advertising dollars and manufacturer information/incentives
- Providing training to all staff
- Grooming future managers
- Overseeing all branch personnel to assure that they are reaching their full potential.
- Responsible for building and maintaining morale in the branch
- Demonstrating leadership qualities and sets an example for staff
- Acts as support line for all departments
- Promotes teamwork both within local team and region
- Communicating regularly with vendors to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Responsible for maintaining a high-quality staff of the very best available people
- Continues to work to improve the skills of existing employees
- Acting as a safety leader and responsible for monthly safety committee meetings.
- Ensuring that all company policies and procedures are followed
- Promptly communicates all vital branch specific information to Regional Managers
- Completing all tasks on the Branch Manager's monthly checklist
- Maintaining ample levels of inventory to meet delivery and service expectations of all Beacon customers
- Maintaining a working knowledge of Beacon benefits and policies
- Completing all WC/Accident reporting
- Understanding and utilizes all needed systems and technology
- Performing performance appraisals for all direct reports
