Lakewood Health System has an opening for a part-time Clinic Scribe Primary Nurse LPN/CMA within our Staples and Pillager Primary Care Clinics! The primary function will be to function within the level of knowledge, experience, license, certification and scope of practice to assist with care team with the implementation and coordination of patient care. This position will be paired with a scribe team and will complete scribe training.

The Clinic Scribe Primary Nurse LPN/CMA will also be responsible for assisting with patient flow by escorting patients to exam rooms, obtaining and recording vital statistics, reviewing / updating patient records for allergies and medications following a standard rooming process. They will assist with answering care team and scribe provider patient phone calls, managing voicemails, results-note call backs, MyChart message management and replying to in-basket messages in a timely manner.

This is a full-time position working 64-80 hours every two weeks between the hours of 8:30AM to 5:00 PM. This position will float to other clinic locations if needed.
Qualifications

1. Current MN LPN Licensure or Medical Assistant Certification

2. Current BLS certification

3. Ability to work independently or in a team environment

4. Excellent communication and typing skills

5. Previous Clinical and EPIC EHR experience preferred
