Job Description
??? Maintain the human resource records of an organization's employees.
??? Responsible for maintaining personnel documents as well as performing background checks, along with other employee-related activities.
Education/Experience
??? High School Diploma or GED required
??? Entry level 2 years customer service related experience required
Responsibility level
??? Exercises minimal independent judgment with direction from supervisor
Skills
??? Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills (Required)
??? Ability to work independently and manage one's time (Required)
??? Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information (Required)
??? Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel (Required)
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
??? Process, verify and maintain documentation relating to personnel activities such as staffing, recruitment, training, grievances, performance evaluations and classifications.
??? Process and review employment applications to evaluate qualifications or eligibility of applicants
??? Record data for each employee, including such information as addresses, weekly earning and supervisory reports on performance
??? Answer questions regarding examinations, eligibility, salaries, benefits and other pertinent information
??? Request information from law enforcement officials, previous employers and other references to determine applicants employment acceptability
