MAINTENANCE SUPERINTENDENT, BUILDING UTILITIES

COMPANY INFORMATION

Foods manufacturer with excellent benefits, growth potential and stability are hiring for a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee the support equipment which includes ammonia systems, boilers, HVAC, building, grounds, compressors, etc.
They are looking for a leader who will manage 4 Maintenance Supervisors and 20+ maintenance professionals
MUST HAVE AMMONIA / PSM
FULL RELOCATION ASSISTANCE will be provided
On top of the relocation, company will provide a sign on bonus

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage a team of 4-5 supervisors and 20+ professional techs that maintain and operate Heating and Cooling systems within the plant.
Will own, manage and upkeep the ammonia systems, boilers, compressors, wastewater systems, HVAC and all other support systems within the plant
Supervises the repair of Electrical control wiring and components associated with the Ammonia system.
Manage the Repair of Compressors, Condenser, Evaporators, and Motors.
Provide long term solutions and day-to-day support to all operating teams having issues with troubleshooting, problem analysis, equipment failures, etc.
Train employees on proper work methods and safety procedures.
Provide regular status reports to maintenance management team.

REQUIREMENTS

BS/BA is preferred or an Associates and or an equivalent of 5+ years of Maintenance leadership experience
Must have Ammonia / PSM experience, Garden city certifications preferred
Must have manufacturing experience, prefer RTE/RTC foods experience but open to any manufacturing industry
Technical training skills in mechanical and electrical repair is required; able to teach and coach the team
Strong leadership skills (conflict resolution, facilitation, change management skills, decision making, empowerment and delegation), preferred.
Able to lead problem solving and troubleshooting efforts associated with high-level process issues.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Good planning and priority setting skills.
Provides leadership and guidance to employees in the Maintenance Department.
