Senior Security Engineer

Otter Tail Corporation (OTC) is hiring a Senior Security Engineer to join our Information Technology team in Fargo, ND.   The Senior Security Engineer leads the design, maintenance and optimization of the enterprise networks while improving the cyber security posture of these environments.  Reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology, the Senior Security Engineer plans, coordinates, and leads projects spanning multiple departments and operating companies.

We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills and proven ability to build successful relationships. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of network security, routing, switching, network protocols and technologies, and network engineering terms and principals. 

Responsibilities:
* Carries out network engineering tasks to support the local and wide area network systems that support the core business.
* Leads network security efforts for the enterprise and industrial networks. 
* Supports strategic planning by evaluating technology options and providing recommendations for projects.
* Leads and implements enterprise-wide cyber security efforts.
* Supports various systems by coordinating or performing updates as necessary and monitoring system performance.   

Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field.
* A minimum of 8 years of experience in network technology roles
