JOB DESCRIPTION

To provide managerial oversight, supervision, training, and leadership to the production division of Your Home Improvement Company, which includes the following primary components:

  • Project Measurements for assigned market(s)
  • Onboard & Manage Installation crews for assigned market(s)
  • Oversee Installation for assigned market(s)
  • Warranty/Service Repair for assigned market(s)
  • Office Management for assigned market(s)

Requirements

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

1. PROJECT MEASUREMENTS: As new contracts are sold by the Sales Division, contracts are emailed to you and uploaded to CRM. These are to be contacted promptly within 72 hours so that measures can be completed within 5 days of the Sale. Field Measurements are to include completion of the following:

  • Introduction
  • Confirm contract details outlined on the proposal
  • Complete appropriate Measurement documents to be submitted to the Ordering Department
  • Take all pertinent jobsite photos to assist the Ordering Department in supplying adequate and accurate materials for the installation as well as provide the potential installer with a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work
  • Provide the customer with a realistic timeframe for installation based on initial approximate installation timeframes, material turnaround, and manpower availability
  • Explain customer communication process going forward and give an introductory explanation of the installation process. This should include items such as paperwork completion, jobsite prep, permit information, and most importantly Final Payment details
  • Highlight any potential installation concerns, discrepancies between customers expectation and proposal components, and any other hold reasons. These are to be promptly relayed to the Sales Department as well as the Ordering Department so the correct steps can immediately be taken to rectify the concerns.

2. ONBOARD & MANAGE INSTALLATION CREWS: You are responsible for making sure your markets have adequate manpower to fulfill contracts sold by the Sales Department

  • If there is a vacancy for a line of products for your assigned market(s), You are required to communicate with the Senior Installation Manager and Corporate Recruiter to have advertisements posted for the open position(s)
  • Follow up on all installer leads promptly the day they come in to arrange a meeting to go over project availability, pricing structures, and opportunities to work together
  • Communicate with the Director of Production & Senior Installation Manager for training as necessary
  • For new and consistent installers, facilitate schedules with the Scheduling Department to ensure appropriately timed jobs to establish a lucrative working relationship with the installers
  • Utilize available CRM reports to determine good to go jobs are being scheduled in a timely manner
  • Manage and maintain appropriate service levels for all aspects of operations

3. OVERSEE INSTALLATIONS: Management of all operational functions for assigned market(s)

  • Job Start Calls with installers on every job
  • Utilize available reports to ensure jobs that should have been completed are turned in promptly & accurately

4. WARRANTY/SERVICE REPAIR: All our products carry an extensive manufacturer warranty backed by a matching labor warranty. Your responsibility is to Assess, Order, and Service all qualifying service repairs for your assigned market(s)

  • Contact customers with a new service within 3 working days to either diagnose over the phone if possible, and if not to schedule a time to inspect visually to properly assess the service concern.
  • Submit assessments to the Customer Service Department for proper tracking, including material order and photo documentation
  • At assessment, supply the customers with a realistic timeframe for completion and outline the process for returning to complete the work
  • If the service is due to poor workmanship on an install under 1 year from completion, supply photos to the installer along with the necessary Back Charge Documentation so that they may choose to either complete the service in a prompt time frame, or accept a deduction on owed funds in order to have another installation crew make the repair

5. OFFFICE MANAGEMENT: Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area for products and supplies. Order additional stock supplies for crew pick-up in advance of jobs.

  • Unload material deliveries, check in product, submit delivery paperwork to the Receiving department
  • Exterior products: studs, shims, White coil/caulk, spray foam, brickmould
  • Interior products: moisture resistant sheetrock, studs, OSB, spray foam
  • Call in warehouse dumpster removal promptly, as necessary
  • Keep load area neat, clean, and free of debris
  • Organize return materials and communicate with the Warehouse/Delivery Department to ensure a prompt pickup
  • Review CRM reports and establish a dialogue with your Sales department to address any pertinent hold reasons promptly

6. And any other duties as assigned by management
