Summary:
Increase parts sales by determining and meeting customer needs through thorough, timely and accurate communications and follow-up. Process obtained orders, keeping customer informed and expedite internally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Respond to customer requests in the America's for quotes or orders
? Identify obstacles to successful quote and negotiate terms
? Recognize the correct component as a solution to a customer need
? Process parts orders received by telephone, fax, email and internal generation.
? Assist customers to accurately identify parts required.
? Follow through on shipments.
? Develop customer relations by providing requested services-order processing, order status, product changes, etc.
? Assist in keeping technical publications appraised of Parts Book changes, additions, and corrections.
? Manage large volume of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
? Work with manufacturing and engineering to expedite difficult orders.
? Develop a working knowledge of Putzmeister products.
? Recognize what components do what job.
? Develop ways to assist in the identification of commonly changed or specialized components.
? Perform additional duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications:
? Good communication, written, and organizational skills
? Basic computer experience
? Excellent problem solving and customer service skills
? Detail oriented, self-motivated individual able to work well independently and in a team environment
? Must be willing to work extra hours as required
? Mechanically inclined

Education/Certification/Training:
? High school diploma or equivalent
? Mandatory safety training (see "Total Compliance Management" program)
? On-the-job training

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and use hands to finger, handle or touch; frequently required to push and pull.
? Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 15 lbs.
? Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, peripheral, and the ability to focus.

Work Environment:

? While performing the duties of this job, the employee is in a typical office environment; occasionally exposed to noise, dust, and chemicals.
? Safety glasses/goggles must be worn at all times while in designated areas of shop.
