Overview Develop processes/ procedures for execution of all field activities within Wind, RS, Solar, and Industrial Work with site teams, owners, and OEM's to align all development information Responsibilities Effectively communicate Wanzek's beliefs throughout the organization Promote culture of quality workmanship in the field Promote and communicate company quality policies and procedures Develop operational policies and procedures for maximizing safety, quality, performance and profitability Complete operational site audits to evaluate health of sites Participate and/or lead problem-solving and continuous improvement efforts, utilizing methodologies such as lean six sigma, and/or similar methodologies Develop project matrix with the Operations Excellence Team Establish, communicate, and evaluate progress towards field goals and benchmarks Develop best practices and standard tools to be used to continuously improve operational efficiency Ensure timely preparation and submission of required field reporting Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and drive closure of accompanying action items Qualifications EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: ASQ or Wanzek Certified Six Sigma Green Belt Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in quality, industrial technology, business management, construction science, or related major 3+ years experience in operations, quality, or safety function Supervisory experience preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Take reasonable care of your own and others health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward Wanzek's Zero Injury principles Apply principles of quality, Lean Kaizen and Continuous Improvement Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook Read, analyze and interpret blueprints, OEM manuals, quality documents, , technical procedures, and associated drawings Write reports, technical specifications, work instructions, procedures, and business correspondence and document quality-related issues and activities Effectively present information and respond to questions from project managers, superintendents, clients, and customers Effectively communicate and develop positive working relationships with the owner, the owner's representative, site personnel, and the s site supervision to facilitate the development objectives Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra, statistics and geometry Solve practical problems and deal with variety of concrete variables in standardized situations Interpret variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form MasTec, Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer.
