Remodel Technician

Job Title: Remodel Technician Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Golden Valley, Minnesota
Shift/Hours: 1st shift, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
Career Level: 3-5 Years of Remodel experienceEducation: High School Diploma/GED
Salary: $20-$23 hour (depending on experience)

Our client is a rapidly growing general maintenance company providing maintenance services to multi-family housing and commercial buildings located throughout the metro area.
Description:
1. Hang kitchen and bathroom cabinetry.

2. Install appliances.

3. Perform basic hardware installation.

4. Perform basic electrical work to include installing light fixtures, light switches, and outlets.

5. Perform basic plumbing to include installing sinks, faucets etc.

6. Work Monday thru Friday standard business hours. No on - call required.

7. Complete payroll time sheets and mileage reimbursement and submit to supervisor as determined.

8. Adhere to company safety guidelines, policies, and procedure as outlined in the Employee Handbook.

9. Ensure compliance of all work-related activities in a fair, ethical, and consistent manner.

10. Assure safety standards are used which comply with all Company, Local, City, State and Federal guidelines.

11. Please note job duties are subject to change based on the needs of the company.

Requirements: 1. Work at various job sites around the metro area.
2. Reliable vehicle and clean driving record.

3. Safely operate power and handheld tools.

4. Willingness to learn new skills and ask questions.

5. Strong customer relation skills.

6. A positive, "can - do" attitude.

7. Effective written and verbal communication skills.

8. Respond well to direction from the Project Manager.

9. Maintain a professional presence while on company time.

10. Must pass Kari Koskinen Manager Background Check after acceptance of job offer.

Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. and bend as well.
