This person will be an expert in tax returns, research, and planning, and have strong skills in Excel and accounting software. The real opportunity here is a fast track to partner with this firm and taking on a sizable book of business. Your responsibilities in this role Prepare and review individual and business tax returns Conduct complex tax research and planning Provide outside CFO services Develop and cultivate long-term professional client relationships Assist partners and senior leaders with generating new business opportunities to build client networks and relationships Develop, supervise, and mentor staff Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback Continue professional development though ongoing education Requirements + BA or BS Degree in Accounting + 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience; ideally 10+ years of overall experience + CPA license or CPA candidate committed to certification (financial assistance provided) + Ability to manage multiple engagement in a rapidly growing, interactive, team-oriented environment + Client-focused with a willingness to learn + Strong leadership, recruiting, training, mentoring skills, coupled with excellent verbal, written, and computer skills + Proficiency in accounting software Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
