Engineering Manager

Job Summary
A full-service supplier to the aggregate and industrial mineral industry is looking for their next Engineering Manager. This is a direct hire opportunity located in Watertown WI. The ideal candidate will have 8 years of engineering experience within a manufacturing environment. This person will also have a few years of management experience. A degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering would be preferred. This person will have experience with developing detailed plans for new designs and products. Making determinations for equipment, staff and training needs as well as hiring and supervising engineering staff.

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical or structural engineering
• Some experience in management
• Scheduling projects in conjunction with the factory schedule
• Organized team player with skills to grow an organization

Responsibilities

• Assign tasks to engineers, designers and detailers
• Gauge progress of various projects
• Communicate effectively with customers
• Collaborate with the sales team to create new products
• Propose budgets for various projects
• Create reports to give updates on project timelines
• Attend trade shows and conferences when required
• Train new employees
