Accountant

We require an experienced Senior Accountant. This individual will play an integral role to execute the accounting for a fast-growing business unit with a high degree of complexity. The successful candidate will be one who has strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and collaborates effectively with others. This role will require active engagement in the details, both in execution and in problem-solving.

Core Job Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
???Support Accounting Controller & Senior Finance Manager to manage the Trial Balance, including journal entries, balance sheet account analysis, transactions & postings, and month end activities.
???Field & resolve inquiries from partners (Corporate, COE, other)
???Perform master data management activities within SAP and Oracle, such as GL accounts, cost center managers, and project numbers.
???Assist with SAP implementation.
???Complete Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX") documentation and requirements for assigned areas and assure risks are identified and controlled.
???Perform any ad hoc activities or analysis, as is required by the accounting team or business.

Qualifications:
???Bachelor's Degree in accounting or Finance
???7 - 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a shared service environment
???Profound knowledge of end-to-end accounting processes
???Proven track record to maintain financial statement integrity
???Experience with SAP highly desired
???Experience with Oracle (preferred)
???Medical Device industry experience (preferred) - While medical device experience is preferred, we do need someone with industry experience in a company providing a product or service.
