Senior Financial Analyst (Hybrid) SAP - BPC

Senior Financial Analyst - This role is currently available due to a recent internal promotion. The role reports into highly-respected leader/mentor. The company is experiencing substantial growth and customer demand for product has never been so strong.

The Senior Financial Analyst supports the Director of Global FP&A and will be responsible for areas such as forecasting/budgeting, analytics, and reporting covering the complete organization. This role will include providing variance analysis for expenses including all costs, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances, and adjusting outlook models to reflect operational adjustments. The Senior Financial Analyst must have strict attention to detail and an ability to set and meet tight deadlines will be critical for success.

Position Responsibilities

• Support monthly reporting and financial close by attending monthly close meetings, assisting with reconciling budget and forecast variances to actual results


• Support all components of budget/forecast for all expenses, including actively pursuing new/innovative ways of improving business process


• Monitor and review spending, identify trends/issues and lead resolution of problems


• Perform ad hoc analysis to drive data decision making for the leadership team


• Support all key financial processes including partnering with key stakeholders to produce the annual budget, strategic plan, bi-annual forecasts, and monthly reporting/analytical support


• Support the Monthly close process including preparation of variance reports and analysis with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.


• Acquire and maintain a thorough understanding of the strategies, business issues, risks, and profitability opportunities

Skills and Experience Requirements

• At least 3+ years of related business experience, ideally with proven experience in forecasting, budgeting, data analysis activities


• Superior Excel financial modeling skills and Financial Systems, SAP - BPC a plus


• Requires a self-starter, ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively


• Must be detail-oriented, with strong organizational and task management skills


• Ability to partner cross functionally with all levels of the organization

• Proven ability to interpret and synthesize data into intelligent business decisions


• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
