Sr. Auditor

A well-respected Robert Half client is seeking an interim Senior Auditor to join the company.Join our project team on a contract basis, where you will be tasked with the efficient completion of accurate audits and maintaining a level of auditing quality and financial accuracy for the organization.

- Complete assigned audits within budgeted timeframes, and budgeted costs

- Assist in internal audit management and the development of the annual internal audit plan

- Under the supervision of the Internal Audit Manager, execute compliance, operational or financial audits

- Perform follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit issues

- Assemble audit reports and present issues to the business while discussing practical cross-functional solutions

- Bachelor degree with a specialization in Finance or Accounting required

- Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment

- 6+ years of relevant public accounting or industry experience

- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively in a fast-changing environment

- Solid understanding of risk assessment practices, COSO framework, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and GAAP

- Demonstrated success acting in a project management capacity

- CPA designation or equivalent, CIA or MBA designation highly preferred
