Learning and Development Manager Description The Opportunity: Now is your chance to lead the Learning & Development Team for Roehl Transport, a Forbes Magazine Best Mid-Sized Employer and an ATA Presidents' Award-winning carrier! In this role, you set the learning and development strategy for TeamRoehl while leading a team of talent development professionals. Your team will consult with business leaders to understand the developmental needs of their teams and design training programs to help team members cultivate new skills, enhance existing skills, and close performance gaps. Your programs will support individual contributors up to executive-level leadership and are delivered virtually, virtual instructor-led, and in-person instructor-led. This position offers hybrid work arrangements, however regular travel to our Corporate office in Marshfield, WI will be necessary. The Fit: Here is what you need to be successful in this role: + Experience leading a team of talent development professionals + Strong communication and organization skills, detail-oriented and self-motivated + Experience in training/teaching and adult learning, including instructional design principles, but we are open to other areas + Effective presentation and facilitation skills + Recent experience in the development of training or education materials + Passionate about quality and the learning experience of our team + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines + Ability to maintain good working relationships with team members at all levels of the organization + Collaborative work style with the ability to solicit input, influence, and support decisions + Positive attitude, willing to learn + Strong attention to detail + Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook + Solid proofreading and editing ability So, are you ready to put your fingerprint on the future of our team?
