Staff Accountant (Hybrid Work Model)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in the month end closing and financial reporting process, including journal entries and general ledger reporting to management


• Managing accounting for fixed assets


• Perform general account analysis and reconciliations, including bank statements, accruals, and prepaids


• Assist with annual audit


• Assist in the formulation of written internal financial controls and procedures


• Ad hoc responsibilities and reporting as assigned


• Provide assistance and support to accounting group

SKILLS

• Advanced computer skills, and proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word


• Self-starter with good attitude and aptitude


• Well-organized with ability to prioritize


• Very good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide range of personnel, both internal and external.


• Attention to detail and problem-solving ability

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (will consider Associates in Accounting with desire to complete Bachelor's)


• 2 - 4 years' experience in accounting

Compensation: $65,000 to $80,000
