Product Engineer

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Product Engineer in Milwaukee, WI. The Product Engineer will coordinate direct interaction with New Product Engineering and Sales to stay current with new product offerings and to assist with building into new product structures, and support of Genuine Parts long term growth. Product Engineer Responsibilities:

Provide support for the development and expansion of the parts Technical Guide and Technical/Sales selection sheets.
Provide Engineering support to determine and generate equipment repairs and upgrades related to existing units, that enhances our parts product offering.
Ability to utilize older data storage technologies and incorporate into modern technology.
Develop training materials and programs to increase parts sales, as required. Including creating and defining standard operating procedures to create uniformity.
Utilize engineering skills to handle technical inquires consisting of these tasks:
Fuel Conversions
Pressure Vessel Conversions
Capacity Conversions
Burner Upgrades
Boiler rebuilds (tubes/casing)
Develop and build product Infrastructure within our ERP systems to aid manufacturing and sales, as required
Coordinate engineering support for larger projects.
Coordinate with parts staff to correct and improve data accuracy within our ERP system
Must provide effective management of resources to achieve desired results.
Attributes necessary to meet this need may include communications, motivation, team building, employee involvement, diplomacy, delegating, etc. skills as well as confidence and enthusiasm.
Position requires the constant and consistent exercise of intellect, judgment, and ability commensurate with leadership positions in similar industries or situations.
Position requires regular exercise of problem solving and policy and/or procedure interpretation skills.
Ability to handle responsibilities with effective interpersonal skills and to effectively engage with others inside and outside the Company is required.

Product Engineer Requirements:

Bachelors or better in Engineering.
Minimum three years in an industrial equipment technical role and or industrial equipment inside sales role / product development role.
Experience in an aftermarket related business is a plus.
