Education and Experience
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
5+ years of experience in designing and managing a wide variety of site development stormwater projects.
Professional Engineer registration in WI required
Professional Engineer registration in IL is a plus
Professional Land Surveyor registration in WI & IL is a plus
Experience in utility design, grading plans/drainage, permitting and regulatory coordination is a MUST
Experience in site development
Experience in subdivision design
Knowledge of stormwater management design regulations.
Proficient with hydrology and hydraulic software including HydroCAD and HEC-RAS and or SWMM
Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Microstation,
Experienced with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
Job Responsibilities
Self-starter and problem-solver
Manage Projects
Organize work processes and staff
Preparing Proposals
Manage and Develop Clients
Supervise engineers, technicians and surveyors
Develop construction cost estimates
Work on multi-disciplinary project work
Communicate orally an in writing
Work in a team environment
Build upon past experience working on City of Milwaukee, MMSD, and WisDOT projects is a plus
Perform other related duties as assigned
