ACCOUNTING MANAGER

We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager for a well-respected organization here in the Twin Cities Metro. This organization is continuing to experience year-over-year growth and due to this growth they are adding headcount to their Accounting team. This individual will report directly to the Controller and be mentored to eventually step into the Controller's role.

Position Summary: The Accounting Manager will play a key role in maintaining the general ledger, will help prepare monthly consolidated financial statements and will provide ad hoc financial analysis as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close for multiple entities


• Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations and analysis


• Compile and organize supporting documents related to monthly close


• Reconcile and eliminate intercompany accounts during monthly consolidation


• Assist in preparing quarterly and annual work papers for external auditors


• Update chart of accounts, intercompany links, and reporting within accounting package

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required


• 2+ Years Public Accounting strongly preferred


• CPA strongly preferred


• 8+ years of relevant accounting experience


• 2+ years of staff leadership experience


• Strong attention to detail and strong systems skills


• Collaborative individual with strong communication skills


• Tech Savvy
