SHINE is looking for a Corporate Finance Manager that supports fundraising, corporate finance, and business development activities. Reporting to the CFO, you will also support investor relations activities and will drive financial analyses that shape the strategic direction of our growing and scaling organization.


The right candidate will be a driven and proactive self-starter, have exceptional analytical capabilities, and possess the ability to simultaneously perform high-level strategic tasks while maintaining a strong attention to detail to ensure insightful, accurate work. The candidate should be able to thrive in an environment that is ambiguous and fast-paced, and have the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and action plans.


This role will work closely with senior leaders, and have exposure to the board, investors and key external stakeholders. A successful candidate will demonstrate significant leadership and executive potential to achieve further career growth at SHINE.


Location: This position will have significant cross-functional and executive interaction, and generally requires an on-site presence of 60% or greater in Janesville, WI, located approximately 35 minutes south of Madison, WI, with flexibility to work from our Madison, WI offices at times.


Responsibilities

  • Own and improve our investor facing financial model that is used as the basis for our long-term, strategic planning efforts
  • Lead the financial evaluation of strategic projects and business development opportunities, including the development of financial models and conducting scenario analyses to form strategic recommendations and plans
  • Work closely with senior leaders on an on-going basis to evaluate risks and strategic scenarios, providing thought-leadership on financial drivers, risks, sensitivities and trade-offs
  • Support our capital market and financing activities, including the development of valuation models and supporting deal execution activities
  • Support the CFO and C-suite in the preparation of board and investor facing materials


Requirements:
  • 5 years across Corporate Finance, Investment Banking or similar
  • Superb analytical/quantitative skills, high intellectual horsepower and ability to drive strategic and tactical decisions
  • Strong executive presence is critical with excellent communication skills across a variety of audiences
  • High aptitude and enthusiasm for solving complex problems with exceptional financial modeling capabilities
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple high-priority workstreams at once
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to find the appropriate balance between speed and precision
