Civil Engineer - Land Development

Land Development Engineer duties will include the analysis and design of various types of residential, commercial, and institutional land development projects and will be directly responsible for the preparation and development of plans sets based on the governing agency requirements. The candidate will be required to be able to complete all facets of the land development process including development of conceptual layouts, preliminary plans, development engineering, and construction plans. .Design work will require experience and knowledge of site grading, street design, drainage and runoff analysis, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, watermain and street light layout and design. This position will require collaboration with the rest of the design team as well as any applicable resource agencies to ensure that all the project requirements are met. Engineer is expected to maintain a high level of professional service to the Company's clients in an accurate and timely manner.

Brosz Engineering is currently seeking a Civil Engineer to join our growing Land Development team. We are looking for candidates who are highly motivated, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, and work well in a team environment. Applicants must have 5+ years of directly relevant experience in civil engineering and be a registered Professional Engineer or have the ability to obtain licensure in South Dakota within 6 months.

Work Conditions and Schedule

General professional business office conditions with office hours of Monday-Friday 7AM to 5PM. Meeting attendance or construction schedules may require some evening or weekend work. Overnight stays may also be required.

Salary will be established at a level comparable with other senior level engineering positions in the industry.
