Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District 191 is a dynamic and innovative suburban public school district serving approximately 7,500 students. The District includes 8 elementary schools with kindergarten through grade 5 (some with voluntary pre-kindergarten programs), two middle schools with grades 6-8, one high school with grades 9-12 and one alternative high school. The District also includes one of the most extensive Community Education programs in the state, serving newborns up through senior citizens. Position Overview: Hours: 7 hours a day - Part Time Compensation/benefits: Per Unit Agreement Primary Responsibilities: Gather assessments to plan and execute instructional activities Work together with other professionals and paraprofessional staff. Building relationships through strong, positive adult-child interactions Providing a stimulating, safe and secure environment for play and exploration Planning and implementing research based curriculum aligned with the Early Childhood Indicators of Progress Providing culturally relevant learning experiences, Supporting family engagement in early childhood settings Directing the work of support staff Qualifications: MDE issued Early Childhood License preferred /K-6 license Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field.
