Description: Our client is currently seeking a Structural Engineer - Industrial/Agricultural to join their team immediately!

Type: Direct Hire Location: Hybrid - flexible!
  • Plymouth, MN

This job will have the following responsibilities:
  • Lead in engineering and design services for agribusiness, industrial and commercial facilities
  • Work on expansions, retrofits and new facility design for a variety of projects ranging from distribution centers to feed mills and export terminals
  • Perform high quality engineering services
  • Appropriately and efficiently use software and hand calculations to develop design solutions that meet code requirements and are constructible
  • Prepare design/layout preliminary concepts and accurately communicate the context
  • Perform site visits/observations/structural evaluations. (Potential 10% travel to construction job sites.)
  • Lead the preparation of proposals, design documents and project deliverables
  • Coordinate design team effort internally and externally
  • Develop and coordinate project details
  • Perform site visits during design phase to verify existing conditions and identify engineering and coordination issues. (Potential 25% travel to construction job sites.)

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with structural engineering emphasis
  • Industry experience in either Industrial engineering or Agriculture/Agribusiness
  • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
  • 8+ years experience for Senior role
  • 5+ years' engineering experience for Mid-level role
  • Preferred Qualifications: MS, Engineering LEED accreditation
