Summary: The Organizational Learning and Development Manager is a key member of the HR leadership team with responsibility for the development and execution of Silk Road Medical's learning and development strategy that aims to build organizational capability throughout the company. Our L&D program includes manager and employee development, talent reviews, change management, and organization development and effectiveness. This is a highly collaborative role that works cross-functionally with business leaders and HR to understand business issues and develop effective business solutions. Responsibilities: Lead the development and continuous improvement of a comprehensive learning and development strategy ensuring alignment with Silk Road Medical's broader business goals and long-term strategy. Conduct assessments and analyses to define performance requirements, identify skill and knowledge gaps, and recommend training and development opportunities to drive individual and company-wide capability and performance improvement. Design, develop, and conduct programs and curriculum to achieve defined training, learning and development objectives. Partner with internal subject matter experts and/or external vendors as appropriate. Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy for training and development programs. Conducts assessments of effectiveness of training in terms of effectiveness of training and change in employee's accomplishments and performance following training. Utilize metrics to validate knowledge transfer and return on investment. Train employees on HR policies and practices. Presents course materials. Consult with management on performance, organizational and leadership matters. Conducts needs assessments to determine measures required to enhance employee job performance and overall company performance. Identify leadership training needs; recommends and implements a manager development program. Partner with the HR team to recommend and develop employee engagement programs and activities that enhance employment experience. Implement various learning methods companywide (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training) Collaborate with managers and HRBP's to develop their team members through career pathing, individual development plans, and coaching. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline/experience preferred. 8-10 years of progressive HRBP experience leading strategy and organizational effectiveness. Knowledge of Human Resource Management policies/procedures and related legal (state/federal) framework. Ability to effectively interact, engage, and strategize with all levels of roles from operational to senior level executives. Strong business acumen and analytical mindset with the ability to lead, implement, and facilitate change. Demonstrated successful experience in working in a high-performance work environment and team-oriented culture.
