Mechanical Designer

Description:

??? Creating and modifying PFD's, P&ID's and 3D piping in AutoCAD Plant 3D.

??? Creation and cleanup of piping designs and isometrics.

??? 3D Modeling including components, process skids, facility plans (mechanical, fire protection, plumbing, electrical, etc.), and general details from a variety of vendors and CAD/BIM software.

??? Developing the design and drafting of complex piping drawings given basic information such as P&ID's, GA's, piping specifications, equipment arrangement drawings, etc.

??? Modifying 3D models (tanks, vessels, and equipment including piping).

??? Detailed mechanical drawings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Need Intermediate Revit experience

??? Familiarity with CAD and/or BIM platforms OR AutoCAD Plant 3D.

??? Familiarity with Revit and Solidworks is a plus.

??? Familiarity with Drafting and Design Standards.

??? A minimum of 2 years recent designer experience or a Design degree and experience with AutoCAD Plant 3D.

??? Experience in the nuclear industry (NRC), medical industry (FDA), or other highly regulated industry is a plus.

??? Candidates with strong AutoCAD experience are highly preferred.
