Senior HR Generalist - Direct Hire - Sheboygan, WI

Must Haves: Degree, 5+ years in manufacturing environment. HRIS experience,, FMLA experience and at least 5 years in Manufacturing recruiting.

Duties and Responsibilities

Respond to associate requests, questions, and concerns regarding compensation, benefits, company
policy, etc.
Assist in the preparation and processing of bi-weekly payroll and associated benefit deductions,
reimbursements, garnishments, wage increases, etc
Maintain confidential employment and applicant records
Manage FMLA and other leaves of absence as well as Worker's Compensation claims and absences
Maintain associate records for all benefit programs including enrollments, changes, terminations,
etc.
Coordinate placement of temporary staffing
Create and maintain permissions for security badges for all associates
Work with Hiring Managers to recruit candidates for open positions including posting open positions,
evaluating candidates, coordinating the interview process, preparing employment offers, etc.
Complete all pre-employment activities for new hires and conduct new employee orientations
Assist with the implementation and administration of Human Resources initiatives and programs
including performance management, benefits, compensation, policies, training and development,
etc.
Maintain compliance with all state and federal regulations in all aspects of human resources
Adhere to Company policies and practices and monitor for consistency in the application of these
policies in accordance with governmental regulations
Maintain knowledge of local employment trends and issues
Participate in the enhancement of processes and standards for the department
Assist in various projects for the department
Perform additional responsibilities as requested to achieve business objectives

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
Recruiting and onboarding of Manufacturing employees
Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Human Resources in the manufacturing industry preferred
High regard for confidentiality
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to take initiative
Ability to work independently and as a team
Ability to prioritize work activities, use time efficiently, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
High level of accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality work product
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite of products and internet; experience with
HRIS systems is preferred
