The Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Division at the University of Minnesota is seeking a board certified/eligible Neuro-Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor rank.

Position Highlights:
Academic track position with a focus in clinical care and translational research.
Develop and manage clinical trials and publish results in peer reviewed journals.
Care for patients on the inpatient and outpatient units of the University of Minnesota Children's Hospital.
Priority programs for the division at this time include neuro-oncology but qualified candidates with other interests in oncology and hematology are encouraged to apply.

About the Department:

The Division of Hematology-Oncology provides a rich and collaborative environment to treat children and adolescents with cancer and blood disease. The division has long-standing interests in the development and testing of new agents for both leukemias and solid tumors, including immune-based cellular therapies, and cancer survivorship. The University of Minnesota serves as a Pediatric Early Phase Clinical Trial Network Center within the Children's Oncology Group. The division is home to the Universities Brain Tumor Program; a multi-departmental translational research and clinical effort focused on integrating novel findings to advance the field of neuro-oncology.

Qualifications:
Completion of a fellowship in pediatric hematology-oncology and pediatric neuro-oncology and board certification or board eligibility in the subspecialty.
Licensed or ability to acquire medical license and DEA in the State of Minnesota, and meet threshold criteria/qualifications for credentialing and privileges.
Ability to receive work authorization in the United States from the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and maintain legal status according to the requirements of VISA category while in the United States.
