  • Lead cross-functional teams to deploy standard operating procedures and process improvements.
  • Manage improvement initiatives through hands on interaction and personal mentoring skills utilizing LEAN principles, tools and strategy deployment.
  • Lead and facilitate training in LEAN principles for the organization. Develop standard tools for departments to utilize in process improvement efforts.
  • Analyze low to mildly complex production and processes. Utilize common process improvement techniques to analyze operations. Identify impact to current processes of proposed defect fixes or system enhancements and work with the various stakeholders to propose and develop process and/or technology modifications.
  • Actively participates in the analysis of production and process issues, recommends solutions to further business goals and works with the appropriate teams in the plant to implement those solutions.
  • Facilitate meetings, kaizen events and workshops to solve urgent business needs.
  • Develop requirement documents and conduct systems testing, training, and related documentation, as necessary.
  • Perform all assigned tasks in a safe, efficient, timely, and accurate and highly productive manner according to company policy.
  • Contribute to the team effort to produce a quality product
  • Attend scheduled work hours on a regular and timely basis. Maintain good attendance.
  • Develop and maintain strong, positive business relationships with key internal clients, external customers and suppliers to clearly understand their business processes, and the development/articulation of short and long term business objectives.
  • Define the business case for the projects that have been proposed and validate the opportunity, scope and importance of a project.
  • Build, mobilize, and lead cross departmental project teams to meet the project objectives within the given time frame, and within budget
  • Present status updates to stakeholders in the form necessary, using Six Sigma and Lean tools
  • Establish key measure of success for projects and implement tracking plans.

Qualifications

  • Education: Five or more years of relevant business or project management experience required. Associates or bachelor's degree is desired but not required

    • Lean knowledge/experience to apply lean concepts and principles across an entire value stream- shop floor focused
    • Excellent training and presentation skills.
    • Consistent demonstration of ability to act independently, prioritize and influence others on a regular basis.
    • Must have LEAN or Process Improvement experience - shopfloor focused
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Power Pint, Project, Visio, Outlook, and Access.
