Duties and responsibilities Perform detail work under the supervision of an Internal Auditor or Internal Audit Manager. Produce a quality audit work paper that is clearly document in standard requirements. Utilize project management principles to independently organize and execute assigned work. Adhere to audit schedule and ensures completion of audits in the timeframe and hours allowed. Execute internal audits in compliance with audit standards and procedures. Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with business partners throughout projects Track issues to ensure completing of management action plans. Respect the confidentiality of information obtained during the course of executing an audit. Possess knowledge of accounting principles generally accepted in the US and generally accepted auditing standards. Qualifications Experience Required 0 - 2 years related experience preferably in compliance, accounting or internal audit Preferred 2-4 years related experience preferably in compliance, accounting or internal audit Education Required Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent in work experience. Preferred N/A Additional education and/or experience: List if applicable. Working conditions Additionally, an individual must be flexible in work schedule and have the ability to travel between office locations if warranted and provide proof of insurance. A valid driver's license is required. Driving record must be in accordance with WSB's Vehicle Safety Policy.
