Position Summary

This position is responsible for developing new business and retaining existing clients through marketing and sales efforts. Duties include working closely with the SVP, Business Services, Business Services department, Private Banking, other lenders and managers in making business development calls and generating additional loan and deposit income from new and existing clients by offering credit and non-credit financial services including cash management. The incumbent delivers consistently high-quality service to clients and prospects.

Essential Functions & Duties

??? Identify and generate leads for new business opportunities/customers

??? Call on potential or existing customers to develop, expand or retain business relationship

??? Provide clients with timely and efficient service as well as updates on products and services

??? Solicit referrals from existing clients

??? Represent the Bank in community organizations and activities to enhance the Bank's image and maintain or enhance a referral network for business development opportunities

??? Work closely with Business Services, Private Banking, Branch personnel and other areas in developing or expanding client relationships through cross selling

??? Analyze credit and financial information of businesses along with other factors, such as market conditions and management, to determine whether credit request may be an acceptable risk

??? Make decisions on loans and terms if within own lending limits or make recommendations to appropriate individuals or committees

??? Manage and monitor overall asset quality of individual loan portfolio

??? Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date information and documentation supporting credit extension

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience

Associate's Degree

Minimum 3-5 years of business banking and commercial lending experience

Experience managing a small portfolio of clients and proven success prospecting business clients

Preferred Education and Experience

Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Strong credit analysis experience and understanding of financials
