Facility Maintenance Technician

We are seeking candidates for Facility Maintenance Technician roles on 2nd and 3rd shifts. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity is $20.00-$30.00+ per hour depending on experience.

Facility Maintenance Technician Main Responsibilities:

• Performing routine and specialized maintenance on of highly automated, state of the art glass production equipment including: Tempering furnace, Automated cutting system, Automated insulating equipment, Spacer forming and assembly equipment, Building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Performing preventative maintenance on production and assembly equipment
• Maintaining the appropriate records by recording work orders using CMMS
• Communicating in a timely manner when more parts are needed and filling out a purchase requisitions

Facility Maintenance Technician Key Requirements:

• 2-year degree or equivalent experience in a maintenance related field is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting skills and have an understanding of pneumatics, industrial electrical, controls systems and mechanical processes
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair
• Must be physically capable of manual labor including standing, walking, lifting, bending, and reaching with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
