Quality Inspector
Indelco Plastics, a family-owned plastics distributor, is seeking a highly organized, detail oriented Quality Inspector. Our ideal candidate will have a basic working knowledge of Quality in a manufacturing setting, and be familiar with ISO 9001:2015 requirements. We are looking for an independent worker with excellent time management skills. Previous inspections experience a must!
The qualified candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Inspecting parts for non-conformities
First Article Inspections
Monitor the quality of material produced
Perform in-process quality checks or specific tasks as required
Records inconsistencies and recommends necessary changes to improve quality.
Read detailed blueprints
Inform and work with various departments.
Complete inspection reports as required
Follow work instructions and ISO/quality systems procedures
Help promote Indelco's Quality program
Requirements:
Plastics industry knowledge helpful.
High School Diploma or GED.
Strong math skills and ability to read and write in English.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a multi-tasked environment.
Detail oriented
Ability to prioritize and organize work.
Qualified candidates are required to undergo a background check and drug/alcohol screening.
