Job Details

What we're looking for:

  • Registered Nurse(RN) in the state of Illinois
  • BSN required; Masters preferred
  • Instructor certified in BLS, ACLS and PALS
  • Must possess a basic knowledge of integrated clinical systems. Prior experience in the informatics setting is preferred. Possess excellent learning,

thinking, and communication, interpersonal, clinical, and organizational skills. Must be action oriented and motivated to achieve success. Possess
knowledge of Joint Commission standards.
  • Two years of RN experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skill can be acquired
  • Previous experience in a role as an educator preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills evidenced by serving as a charge nurse, supervisor or preceptor

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying clinical education needs.
  • Plan, develop, present clinical education programs.
  • Assist with quality and safety initiatives within the nursing organization.
  • Support Nursing in achieving and maintaining regulatory compliance.
  • Provide internal consulting services for nursing leadership.
  • Conduct clinical orientation for all new staff; provide initial skills training for nurses and techs.
  • Coordinate in-service education to address new equipment, standards, techniques, processes, & initiatives.
  • Plan & coordinate management development programs.
  • Assisting with quality and safety initiatives within the Nursing organization.
