responsibilities:

This Controller position is a critical role for our team. You will be a key asset and require a variety of skills, such as:

• Monitor ledgers and reporting systems
• Prepare supporting schedules
• Reconcile accounts - cash, inventory, fixed assets, and other balance sheet accounts
• GAAP - Implement accounting and finance best practices
• Document and monitor accounting policies as required
• Implement appropriate internal controls
• Assist with revenue, expenditures, cash, and payroll
• Monthly financial statement preparation

qualifications:

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 5 years of Controller experience
• Experience with full-cycle accounting
• High level of proficiency in MS Excel, various accounting and ERP systems
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced collaborative environment
• Strong change management skills
• Reside in the Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN area

Preferred Experience:

• CPA (Active or Inactive) and/or MBA
• QuickBooks or NetSuite experience
• Background in mergers, acquisitions, and integrations
• Prior engagements in consulting or contract work
• Experience working with private equity-backed companies
