Element6 has a newly created Category Manager / Commodities Specialist position with a growing company. This strategic role will be instrumental to the Supply Chain team. The company is very customer service focused with a strong emphasis on employee growth and development. Work-life balance is important.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Manage all suppliers within assigned commodities and/or categories.
2. Provide quality service to the business addressing specific needs of each division/segment (i.e., quoting)
3. Develop strong understand of business division/segment requirements and local market conditions.
4. Understand competitive landscape and guide segments on commodity pricing to win business.
5. Formulate sourcing strategies that achieve desired quality levels, cost targets, timing needs and risk management goals in support of Company's objectives.
6. Establish and manage companywide reclaim program to drive additional revenue stream.
7. Lead supplier negotiations and execute purchase/sale of commodities.
8. Collaboratively provide purchasing and procurement support to entire sales staff and Company personnel.

Education/Experience
??? Bachelor's degree required. MBA preferred.
??? Minimum 5 to 7 years of commodity and sales related experience with a background in Supply Chain, Procurement and/or Purchasing
??? Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in cost analysis, financial management and negotiations.
??? Proficient technical skills in MS Office Suite.
