Construction Project Manager

The Project Manager (PM) plays a key role in the project management for single or multiple projects, so that project work is completed on or ahead of schedule, on or under budget and client and associated parties are delighted with the final product.

Responsibilities
Continuously maintain a positive working relationship with clients, architects, subcontractors, city officials and neighboring businesses
Network with industry contacts to enable future planning and support business growth
Engage during the preconstruction phase to support design-assist activities, client initiatives and manage project expectations
Demonstrate leadership with all related construction management responsibilities from project start-up to completion
Effectively negotiate with subcontractors on proposals, contracts and related project items
Utilize strong communication skills and hold project team members accountable
Apply construction logic at micro and macro levels to develop and manage critical path method (CPM) schedules with key client and contractor milestones

Qualifications
Construction Management and/or Engineering Degree or related field experience
Proficiency using construction management software, including CMiC and/or Procore
Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with creating and maintaining construction management schedules and the necessary software
Negotiation skills through listening, understanding and maintaining perspective
Strong interviewing expertise for subcontractor selection
Client focused with awareness of client and end-user cares and needs
Flexible approach with the ability to prioritize
Strong work ethic
Resourcefulness to overcome reasonable obstacles
Professional composure and demonstrated integrity

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $130,848.81 per year
