Our client is looking for an experienced controls/automation engineer to program, manage projects and handle systems integrations.

You will provide technical leadership on projects and ensure successful implementation of required project scope and customer satisfaction.

Participate as a key team member in research and development. Participate as a key team member for customer technical support and sales. Provide technical input and support for product development to promote profitability, production efficiency, quality, service, and cost-effectiveness.

Knowledge and skill requirements:

  • Strong PLC programming experience, must have Allen Bradley/Rockwell programming from scratch.
  • Proven experience with operator interface technologies (SCADA, HMI).
  • Strong electrical background and AutoCAD Electrical experience is preferred.
  • Proven experience with PC programming and configuration (Visual Basic, VB.NET) is preferred.
  • Travel is up to 25% will include some international travel to Europe to headquarters but primarily in North America.

Primary Responsibilities:

*Provide controls systems design, specification, programming, simulation, testing, on-site start-up and training;

*Generate detailed project documentation folder upon project completion;

*Provide user/operator interface programming;

*Provide PC programming and network configuration;

*Provide Server and Database programming and configuration;

*Assure the company and its mission, programs, products and services are consistently presented in strong, positive image;

*Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors;

*Develop and maintain customer contact for maintenance and support services;

* Identify and help resolve customer technical and product development concerns;
