We have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Channel Manager to join our Thermo King Americas Business Unit. You will be responsible for building a new channel that will be transformational for the industry. This role will have ownership for share growth, margin expansion, and cash generation for parts and accessories sold through our eCommerce channel. The Digital Channel Manager is responsible for the strategic and ongoing operations for the platform. Your key responsibilities will include partnering with internal and external stakeholders (including IT, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and the Field) to deliver best-in-class digital experiences for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
eCommerce Strategy
Ownership of the digital commerce channel strategy to increase market share and exponentially grow revenue
eCommerce Platform Lifecycle Management
Serves as business lead for multi-phased enhancements to the eCommerce platform
Leads the evaluation and implementation of a multiyear roadmap to evolve the platform capability to drive sales growth
Leads change management process w/all business partners as eCommerce platform expands
Customer Insights
Develop market insights for ongoing understanding of customer needs of the platform, making key recommendations and developing business cases for ongoing investment
Define and create platform performance tracking
Collaborate with customers, dealers, and internal teams to perform discovery of new capabilities, assess business opportunity, and monitor the realized values of enhancements on an ongoing basis
Based on data analysis, execute opportunities to increase user traffic & engagement
eCommerce Website Management
Manages the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce site supporting systems to ensure customer expectations are met
Continually improves user experience and functionality of the site to optimize customer experience and drive conversion rates
Leads all documentation and implementation of technical improvements in partnership with IT
Leads all new projects through the agile project management process
Partners closely with internal and external commercial teams to create end to end value optimization for end users
Create ongoing UX and content improvements to the sites to maximize adoption
Create short- and long-term roadmaps within an agile framework

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or other technical related degree
Masters degree preferred but not required.
A minimum of 5 years in a digital commerce role or other relevant experience
Must have a strong technical aptitude and the ability to work across different functions, regions, and stakeholders
Be able to perform effectively as a team member and be able to work independently in the pursuit of company objectives
Expert analytical and communication skills
Strong financial acumen required
Experience in content management systems, PIMs, and web technology
Excellent organization skills and flexibility to handle a variety of time sensitive tasks and projects
Demonstrated ability to provide effective support on a broad range of activities requiring attention to detail
Ability to travel up to 10%
Knowledge of the transport refrigeration business, trucking industry and technical knowledge preferred
