Project Manager

Position:- Project Manager III Location:-Madison,WI(Remote) Client: State of WI This position is currently fully remote. However, position status is subject to change. Description : - The Department of Children and Families has identified a need for a Project Manager to support programs funded through the Preschool Development Grant (PDG). This project manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the development, management, and implementation of high-profile projects such as Community Innovation Grants and Workforce Grants. These programs support the overarching vision that all children have access to high- quality early care and education. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational and communication skills, as well as, have an ability to work with minimal direction and oversight. Individuals in this role must have a strong background in project management, including experience in running business area projects. The ability to think critically and problem solve are essential. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: ? Project management functions across all PDG projects, including oversight of workplans, timelines, and evaluation efforts. ? External & internal stakeholder engagement - communicate project status to Department Management Teams, workgroups, providers, and Early Childhood Education advocacy organizations. ?
