Case Manager

Case Manager CLARK COUNTY Overview/Purpose of Position: Clark County Department of Social Services has an opening for a full time Case Manager. The position will provide a variety of child welfare services, including child protection services, substitute care services, juvenile intake, juvenile court services and adult protective services as assigned. Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Social Work preferred, or a Human Services related field is required. A minimum of two years of experience working with children and families and/or human services field. Must be willing to attend and acquire or have already acquired the professional knowledge of and the ability to perform required duties (if pertinent) in the Children's Code (Chapter 48 Wisconsin Statutes), Juvenile Justice Code (Chapter 938 Wisconsin Statutes), Basic Juvenile Intake Training, Elder Abuse Statutes (Chapter 46 Wisconsin Statutes) and Guardianship and Protective Placement Statutes (Chapters 54 and 55 Wisconsin Statutes). Must be able to successfully pass a criminal background check. Encouraged to meet Wisconsin Social Work Certification Requirements or complete Social Work Training Certificate requirements within two years of hire date. Must possess a valid driver's license and own a reliable vehicle with automobile liability insurance that meets the minimum county coverage to perform off-site responsibilities.
