Position description
This internship opportunity is available to graduate students attending a Historically Black College or University (HBCU) or Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI).

Mayo Clinic Laboratories (MCL) Empower Qualified Underrepresented Administrative Leaders (EQUAL) Internship Program - Graduate provides interns with relevant field experiences. Areas of emphasis for MCL include strategy development and execution, financial analysis and application, sales, marketing, product management, and operations/logistics. One or more mentors will be assigned to the intern to provide instruction and guidance, and to assess performance. The intern is responsible for observing the functions and processes of the assigned work unit. In addition, the intern will be given selected work assignments to reinforce the learning experience, to assess the performance levels and to provide benefit to the work unit. The intern will be responsible for completing all internship-related assignments and reports for both Mayo Clinic and their college or university.

This is a paid internship that begins on January 9, 2023 and ends on March 31, 2023. The student will be required to work on the Rochester Campus and will receive paid housing and transportation to and from Rochester, MN. The deadline to apply is November 30, 2022.

Qualifications
The student must be enrolled in a masters or graduate degree program from a HBCU or HSI; prefer MBA or MHA. Typically, this internship would occur after the student has taken most of the courses required by the graduate degree program.
