Position description
Works in direct patient care, assisting the eye provider in evaluating and treating eye diseases. Will be trained to perform specialized testing and assisting with eye procedures in clinic.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
None
Computer knowledge, public relations, customer service
Additional qualifications
Preferred: Ophthalmic experience
Preferred: Optical experience and related skills
Preferred: Accreditation by Joint Commission of Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology
Preferred: 18 hours of continuing education credits approved by JCAHO every 3 years
