Director of Remodeling Production

Murphy Bros. Design Build Remodel is an industry leading remodeling companies in the Twin Cities area. We have an immediate opening for a Director of Remodeling Production. Murphy Bros. is currently celebrating 39 years in business and has grown to become the area's most trusted full-service residential remodeling company. This member of the Muprhy Bros. leadership team must be well versed in construction management, production planning, and leadership, with a proven track record of continuous process improvements resulting in cost savings. They are responsible for driving Murphy Bros. culture and values with all members of the team.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage 4+ project managers and 15+ carpenters
  
• Member of 5 person senior leadership team
• Develop and manage sub-contractor program
• Review projects for structural integrity, buildability, and potential hazards
• Safety Program Manager
• Oversee job efficiency and profitability
• Contribute to training and development of production staff
• Global job scheduling
• Production reporting and metrics
• Budgeting and forecasting relevant payroll and overhead spending
• Facilities oversight and coordination

Qualifications

• 15 or more years of experience in residential construction
• Construction Management or Project Management background
• Executive-level business decision making
• Design, drafting, and/or estimating skills a plus
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred
• Blueprint reading
• Technical knowledge about building products and their applications is important
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented.
• Excellent verbal and writing skills
  
• Ability to pass drug screen and criminal background check
