Community Options has multiple opportunities within the Family Support department as a Direct Support Professional (DSP). This position works closely with our customers to deliver superior services, such as cooking, transportation, and customer specific programming. In addition, the role supports our customers with their health, wellness, and personal care. The shifts for these positions vary between the hours of 7AM - 8PM Monday - Friday with some weekend respite hours.

Full Time employees are eligible for all Community Options benefits, to include, Health, Dental, Vision, 401K, Life Insurance, and Paid Time Leave. Starting hourly wage is $14.00- $17.00, depending on experience (DOE).

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
CPR and First Aid certified - training is provided
Successfully pass background check and drug test
Completion of training as required by Community Options
Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, reliable transportation, and proof of insurance for the vehicle subject to the statute of the licensing state will be required based on assigned job duties

Must possess certain basic skills, including the ability to:

Accurately observe and recall surroundings and events;
Communicate information clearly, concisely, and accurately;
Read, write, understand, and apply written instructions in English;
Complete basic computer related tasks;
Make ethical and professional decisions.
Organize and manage tasks

Assigned work shifts will vary depending on the customers' or company needs; employee must be flexible to work mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, holidays, and weekends at one or more locations as determined by the customers.
