Position Responsibilities
Manage Team Leads and their direct reports as well as Senior Exemption Analyst(s) or specialized functions as needed.
Develop Team Leads by conducting regular check-ins, auditing work and providing consistent feedback or coaching.
Prepare, review and deliver year-end performance evaluations.
Submit merit and compensation recommendations.
Oversee the recruiting process and conduct interviews.
Provide guidance to staff on tax concepts as well as interpretation of tax rules and regulations.
Collaborate with Tax Managers to adjust processes according to audit findings or regulation updates.
Lead by example and maintain high morale across the department.
Audit department processes and identify areas for improvement.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Prior people leadership and customer service experience.
Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask.
