Job Purpose & Responsibilities: The Parts Control Unit Coach is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's overall production & quality processes, while maintaining a safe work environment.
- Support and assist shift supervisor in managing production functions, including filling in for supervisors when required
- Function as floater to trouble shoot areas that need assistance, including coverage for absent employees, training new hires, assisting with new tooling, developing routings, etc.
- Follow instructions from job routings and supervisory personnel when running jobs to produce quality parts while maintaining desired production levels.
- Supervise and train helpers or rackers
- Assist supervisors with employee performance evaluations
- Ensure scheduled work is communicated and processed in a timely manner

- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Basic computer entry skills (preferred)

Job Specific Requirements:
- Whatever it takes attitude, good hand and eye coordination, and good organizational skills
- Complete self-starter who can tackle any assignment
- Working knowledge of shop chemistry, line functions, and production requirements
- Basic math and geometry for figuring square footage of parts and racks, and amperage requirements for plating thickness
- Ability to maintain a regular and reliable attendance record
- Ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking the English language
- Ability to lift and move 1-50 lbs. as needed
- Ability to interact with co-workers and supervisors in a cooperative manner
- Ability to work independently without supervision
Shift: 5:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Thursday (OT as scheduled)
Wage Range: $24.00/hr + DOQ
Signing Bonus: $5000 (current employees are not eligible for signing bonus)
